Important Academic Disclaimer: Agnis is an artificial intelligence study assistant designed to

- Mandatory Account Registration: Registration is required to enter the study workspace, use AI study tools, browse peer study materials, and join collaborative study rooms. This requirement protects community safety, prevents spam or room disruption, and enables seamless cloud synchronization of your learning progress.
- Age of Eligibility: Users under the age of 18 (or the legal age of majority in their
jurisdiction) must have the permission and supervision of a parent, legal guardian, or educational instructor.
- Account Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and
maintain the security of your credentials.
- Account Responsibility: You are responsible for all activities that occur under your user
profile. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact support immediately.
4. Acceptable Use & Academic Integrity
Agnis is dedicated to fostering genuine student learning, curiosity, and ethical study habits. You agree to use
the platform in strict accordance with the following rules:
- Ethical Learning: You may not use Agnis to facilitate academic dishonesty, cheat on proctored
examinations, or circumvent institutional honor codes.
- No Malicious Actions: You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or extract source
code, internal schemas, or model weights.
- Safety & Decency: You must not upload, post, or transmit content that is defamatory,
harassing, sexually explicit, hateful, or that promotes violence or self-harm in study rooms or chats.
- No Prompt Injections: You agree not to attempt prompt injection attacks, jailbreaks, or
attempts to force the underlying AI to generate harmful, toxic, or non-educational content.
- Resource Abuse: You agree not to automate requests, flood servers with denial-of-service
scripts, or exceed fair-use computational quotas.
5. AI Content & Limitation on Academic Guarantees
Agnis utilizes advanced natural language models (such as Google Gemini AI) to assist learning:
- Informational Nature: All AI-generated explanations, formulas, code snippets, and study
materials are provided for supplemental educational review only.
- No Warranty of Accuracy: We do not warrant that all AI-generated outputs are 100% accurate,
complete, or up-to-date. The AI may generate unintended inaccuracies or hallucinations.
- No Guarantee of Academic Outcomes: Agnis does not guarantee any specific test score,
examination result, scholarship, or academic admission. Students remain solely responsible for their academic
work and test performance.
6. Agnis Visuals & Image Generation Terms
Agnis Visuals empowers learners to visualize intricate physical, biological, mathematical, and historical concepts through generative AI imaging.
- Educational Intent & Permitted Use: Visual generation must be used exclusively for bona fide educational purposes. Students receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download, print, and incorporate generated visuals into study notebooks, homework assignments, school presentations, and science fair projects.
- Daily Free Quota & Limits: To ensure equitable access and prevent computational denial-of-service, student accounts are provided a daily free visual generation quota (standard limit of 5 free visual generations per day). Daily quotas reset every 24 hours. Agnis reserves the right to calibrate quota allowances based on platform capacity.
- Prohibited Visual Requests: Students agree strictly not to prompt, generate, or attempt to circumvent safety filters to produce:
(a) sexually suggestive or explicit content;
(b) graphic violence, weapons, self-harm, or gore;
(c) harassment, bullying, or defamatory imagery;
(d) deceptive deepfakes or impersonation of real individuals; or
(e) unauthorized commercial merchandise.
Any attempt to compromise visual safety systems will lead to immediate quota revocation or account termination.
- Scientific Accuracy Disclaimer: Generated visuals are synthetic educational illustrations synthesized by artificial intelligence. While engineered to adhere closely to textbook guidelines, students must cross-reference scientific labels, chemical bonds, and anatomical structures with authorized textbooks and teachers before relying on them for examinations.
7. Agnis Study Library & User-Generated Content (UGC)
The Agnis Study Library enables students to publish, discover, preview, download, and study peer-to-peer academic resources (including handwritten revision notes, formula sheets, chapter summaries, past-year question analyses, and practice banks).
A. User Representations & Warranties (Who Is Responsible for Uploads?)
The individual uploader is solely, exclusively, and personally responsible for any material they upload or share on Agnis. When you upload any document, image, or study resource to the Agnis Study Library, you expressly represent, warrant, and certify that:
- You are the sole author and copyright owner of the uploaded notes, or you hold explicit, verifiable written permission or licenses from the copyright owner to share the content publicly.
- The uploaded content is original student study work (such as your own handwritten notes, concept summaries, formula lists, or study guides).
- Strict Prohibition on Restricted / Third-Party Content: You agree strictly NOT to upload:
- Scanned textbooks, published books, copyrighted worksheets, or commercial study modules owned by third-party publishers (e.g., NCERT, Pearson, McGraw-Hill, Cambridge, Oxford, etc.) without authorized licensing.
- Proprietary, paid, or watermarked course materials, lecture slides, test series, or question banks from private coaching institutes or commercial education companies (e.g., Allen, FIITJEE, Resonance, Aakash, Physics Wallah, Unacademy, Khan Academy, etc.).
- Confidential, leaked, or embargoed school examinations, official board answer keys, or standardized test papers prior to official public release.
- Content copied, scraped, or downloaded from other websites, paywalled repositories, or subscription portals.
- The material does not infringe any copyright, trademark, trade secret, moral right, privacy right, or intellectual property right of any individual or entity.
B. Platform Safe Harbor & Intermediary Status
Agnis operates strictly as an automated technological platform and educational intermediary under:
- Section 79 of the Indian Information Technology Act, 2000 (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code);
- Section 512 of the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) (Safe Harbor for online service providers); and
- The European Union Digital Services Act (DSA).
Agnis does not preview, endorse, curate, or verify the academic validity or legal ownership of user-uploaded files prior to publication. Agnis expressly disclaims all liability, legal responsibility, and warranty for user-uploaded materials, copyright infringements, or intellectual property breaches committed by users.
C. User Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Agnis, its operators, founders, developers, affiliates, and licensors from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (i) your uploaded materials; (ii) your violation of any third-party intellectual property or privacy right; or (iii) any claim that your uploaded content caused harm or copyright violation to a third party.
D. License Granted by the Uploader to Agnis & Fellow Students
- Ownership Remains With You: You retain all intellectual property ownership rights in your original handwritten study notes.

- AI Study Enhancement License ("Study with Agnis"): You grant Agnis the right to process your uploaded documents through our educational AI engines to generate derived study aids (such as active recall questions, flashcards, mind maps, and structured revision summaries) for your study sessions and those of peers studying your notes.
E. Author Right to Retract & Delete Materials
- Authors have the unilateral right to edit metadata or permanently delete their uploaded materials at any time through the platform interface.
- Upon deletion by the author, the file and metadata are permanently removed from Agnis active databases and Google Cloud Storage buckets.
- Downloaded Copies Notice: Deleting a material removes it from Agnis cloud servers. However, Agnis cannot retrieve, retract, or erase copies of documents that have already been downloaded locally by other students to their personal computers, tablets, or phones prior to your deletion.
F. Peer-to-Peer Academic Disclaimer
Study materials in the Agnis Study Library are created by students, for students. Neither the uploader nor Agnis warrants that any study note, formula sheet, or practice question is 100% complete, error-free, or up-to-date. Students must always cross-reference concepts, formulas, and solutions against their official course syllabi and authorized textbooks before relying on them for examinations.
